- Energy & Water Assessment
Details
The assignment comprised a comprehensive energy, steam and water assessment of Nishat Mills’ Units 36 and 42. Its purpose was to develop detailed end-use profiles, identify variations in resource consumption across individual users and processes, and determine technically relevant improvement opportunities. The assessment extended beyond central utility systems to consider process- and end-use-level performance. Its principal outputs included identified efficiency measures, assessment of associated decarbonisation potential and detailed green-transition plans for the two units.
- Espire compiled and analysed available energy, steam and water information and developed flow profiles at end-use level for Units 36 and 42. This enabled comparison of consumption patterns among individual users and processes and identification of major consumption points, performance variations and areas requiring further improvement.
- The team assessed potential measures across utility generation and distribution, production processes and individual end uses, ensuring that recommendations were not limited to central utility optimisation. Identified opportunities were consolidated into detailed green-transition plans linking operational and efficiency improvements with their potential contribution to facility decarbonisation. The assignment provided Nishat Mills with a structured basis for prioritising energy-, steam- and water-efficiency measures at both system and process levels.
